Here at Stone, we are very grateful to have a team of passionate people that go out of their way each month to give back to their community. In November we had some amazing achievements and efforts from our team to give back, support and raise awareness of these community organisations.

Here are a few of the wonderful initiatives that we wanted to share with you:

Stone Illawarra – I98FM Illawarra Convoy

Our Stone Illawarra office has began a Community Engagement Program whereby they make an outstanding effort to support community organisations. In November, the team helped out at the I98FM Illawarra Convoy, an organisation that reduces financial and emotional burden on families who have a member undergoing treatment for a potentially life threatening illness. The team (along with some little mascots!) supported the convoy with Stone merchandise and has raised $230 so far.

Stone Manly – The Royal Far West Auction

Our Stone Manly team supported the Royal Far West organisation last month at their Christmas Cocktail Party. The Royal Far West provides health services to children living in rural and remote areas of New South Wales and held an auction at the party. The Stone Manly team donated some amazing auction prizes at the event.

Stone Camden supported the Camden Jacaranda Festival

Our Stone Camden team attended the Camden Jacaranda Festival to meet people in the community and support their local event – loaded with lots of Stone merchandise of course! They worked with Jill from @mynewcamden who supports rural communities by selling beautiful cards. Jill raised enough money on the night for 1 full load of water to Camden’s local farmers.

The Stone Camden team also supported the local farmers with the Dilly Drought Drive and their Christmas Hamper Drive, an initiative that raises money to buy hay and water for local farmers.

Stone Coomera – Walking for a cause

Stone Coomera slapped on their Stone caps, slopped on their sun cream, and slipped into their runners to walk in support and awareness of Type 1 diabetes. Shane Evans’, the owner of Stone Coomera, youngest daughter has the auto immune condition and the Stone Coomera office walk each year to raise awareness for this important cause.
