Industry veteran Adam Buchert rebrands his agency to tap into the opportunities, knowledge and expertise of the Stone network.

Australia’s fastest-growing real estate network Stone Real Estate has added a new office in the Hawkesbury, northwest of Sydney.

The new office will be run by Principal Adam Buchert, and was previously part of the Starr Partners network, now becoming the latest stronghold for the Stone Real Estate brand. Buchert has over 25 years of industry experience, and is a passionate area local, having started his real estate career with Century 21 Windsor in the late 90s.

Buchert said the move came out of a desire to be part of a forward-thinking and vastly experienced network of franchises. “We decided to move over to Stone Real Estate to better reflect our values and how we want to be seen in the market. We felt that Starr Partners wasn’t keeping up with what we wanted for our clients and they didn’t quite capture what we’re all about – so we made the decision to change things up.

“The Stone brand is synonymous with quality and excellence, which is exactly what we aspire to. Joining the Stone family means that we can continue to provide our clients with the very best service possible. We’re also excited about the opportunities that being part of a larger network will bring. With over 60 offices across Australia, we’ll be able to tap into a wealth of knowledge and experience.”

The Hawkesbury local government area encompasses just shy of 3,000 square kilometres, and encompasses a diverse range of property. The median house price is $1,032,500, growing 37.66% over the past two years alone.

Buchert said there is significant growth opportunity in the area thanks to the broad range of property types available. “From two-bedroom units for $400,000 through to big homes on acres for $5 Million, there really is something for everybody out here. Right now it’s the first home buyers who are driving our market due to affordability and lifestyle, but they are closely followed by investors who are again looking for affordable investments with positive yields.”

Stone Real Estate Head Of Franchise, Luke Cameron, said: “It’s fantastic to see yet another market leading, thriving real estate business recognise the growth potential of the Stone brand and we are hugely excited to welcome Adam Buchert and his hard-working team to the family. When it comes to servicing a diverse area like the Hawkesbury, local knowledge is incredibly important, and Adam’s trusted expertise made bringing the office on board an easy decision.”

As part of the rebrand, the new Stone Real Estate Hawkesbury will also merge with the local Kurmond Satellite branch. This office has been run by Cathy Walton for 13 years, and Buchert said it was a no brainer to complete the merger as part of the broader changes to his business.

“Cathy was always hesitant to join our other brand but once she saw we were joining Stone she contacted me and we did the deal. I’m really excited about having an office up there so we can service all of those amazing properties on the western side of the river,” he said.
