It’s been a really interesting week. A week that saw onsite auctions banned, as well as public open homes, for sale as well as for lease.

We have adapted and made rapid changes in response to the restraints placed on the real estate industry.

With everything being shown in private, there has been some positive. We are talking more than ever. We are having conversations with serious buyers. Those that are truly in the market are taking the time to discuss their needs and wants.  Our database is shared amongst all of our 33 offices, which allows our entire network to readily access and match buyers with sellers. This has resulted in a number of “off market” homes being sold within just a few days of listing.

Many of our offices have had a record week for the leasing of properties. Seaforth office leased eight properties in seven days, and Camden leased three in three!

Even with all that is happening with regard to Covid-19, there have been quite a number of new listings hit the market.
