My husband and I interviewed a number of real estate agents to select an agent to sell my uncle’s well loved home. Marize’s presentation was well research, her knowledge of the local market was excellent. We were confident that she would attain the best price for the property and that she would be very comfortable to work with. Marize and her team exceeded our expectations! The home, though solid and with “good bones”, needed a lot of work to present it in the best possible light. Marize and her team organised and coordinated an “army” of tradespeople – painters, floor sander, gardener, rubbish and furniture removalists, electrician, stylists etc. The styling of the home was beautiful. This was all done with precision and good humour – nothing was too much trouble for the fantastic team. We were stunned with the result of all this hard work – it was amazing, all in just two weeks! The beautiful features of the home were enhanced by this wonderful, cost effective transformation. During the sale, Marize kept us informed at all times, gave realistic feedback and attained a great price for my uncle’s home. While some agents make you feel they have become buyer advocates once an offer comes in, Marize supported my decision to reject the offer and returned to negotiate a significant increase and my nominated price within 48 hours. Contracts were exchanged the following day.
